Granite Rock RV Park is brand new and located in Kingsland, Texas, in the Texas Hill Country, just a short distance from the confluence
of the Llano and Colorado rivers which forms Lake LBJ one of the best of the central Texas Highland Lakes chain. In the
summer there is an abundance of water activities including boating, water skiing, swimming, fishing and local festivals like the Kingsland
Aqua Boom festival on July 4th and the Marble Falls boat races in August. In fall and winter you can do lots of exploring
and hiking within a few short miles, Enchanted Rock, Longhorn Caverns and Inks Lake State Park are close by. In the winter and
early spring Bald Eagles nest in the area along with lots of other birds. For the hunters there are lots of deer in the area.
In the spring there are wild flowers along every road and views that are just waiting for a camera. For shoppers Fredricksburg
is just an hour away and many shops in the surrounding towns offer a wealth of antiques and local items, Austin and San Antonio are
close by too. See our "
Activities" page for a host of things to see and do.
Come spend a day, a week or a month
with us and explore what the Texas Hill Country has to offer.
We offer 8 granite gravel RV sites, 7 of them pull throughs. All sites have, sewer, city water, and 50/30/20 amp electrical
service, Each site also has an 8'x16' concrete patio and all are nicely defined by ribbon curbs. We have a
newly remodeled clubhouse for our visitors that stay with us on a weekly or monthly basis. Below are a couple of pictures
of our clubhouse decorated for Christmas 2009. See our "
